I have over 30 years experience with providing a safe, supportive space to develop healing, personal growth and overall improved well being. Navigating life changes, worries, stress, grieving, old hurts or traumas. Look like you have it all together from the outside but exhausted inside? The exhaustion is real and NOT a character flaw. You cannot attract peace and balance if stuck in survival mode. Tired of carrying it? Learn skills for a different approach. Let's get it out, put it down and lighten the load. You do not have to be at the mercy of the voice in your head with at times feeling forced to reenact the past again and again or feel like you are making same mistakes over and over. Life transitions like divorce, death, empty nest, retirement, even leaving a toxic situation (relationship or job) - all require processing to "move on" and move Beyond. Reaching out can feel like a big step and I am here to help guide you along the way in a compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to make sense of what you're going through. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. We will explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you with your personal goals. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions. This is more than "Think Positive Thoughts"! During treatment, we will discuss different thought processes in finding what works for you to feel in control of your emotions and responses. Together, we will work at your pace. I am here to help you reach your personal goals, adjust to life changes and maintain your authentic self.
